When I started Proform Kitchens + Joinery Solutions in 2005, I wanted to create more than just a joinery business.
I wanted to build something personal – a business centred around craftsmanship, trust, creativity and genuine relationships with the people we work with every day.
Over the past twenty years, I’ve had the privilege of working closely with homeowners across Hobart and Tasmania, helping bring their ideas to life through thoughtful kitchens, custom joinery and beautifully functional spaces designed around the way they live.
What has always mattered most to me is the experience people have while creating their home. I believe the process should feel collaborative, exciting and genuinely supported from beginning to end. That’s why I remain deeply involved in every project, working personally with our clients from the early design conversations right through to the finer finishing details.
In an industry where staff often come and go, many of our team have been with Proform for close to a decade.
Shaun and Daniel have just celebrated their 10 year anniversaries with the business, while Mitch will celebrate ten years with us next year. That kind of loyalty means something. It reflects the culture we’ve built together — one grounded in respect, pride in our work and a shared commitment to creating spaces our clients genuinely love coming home to.
Two years ago, my husband Roger joined the business to lead our CNC operations and workshop management, bringing with him an incredible level of dedication, precision and support behind the scenes.
Having the love of my life beside me in both life and business has been one of the most meaningful parts of this journey, and together with our incredible team, we continue to build Proform with the same care, values and commitment it was founded on all those years ago.
It’s about creating spaces where families gather, mornings begin, conversations happen and everyday life unfolds.
We understand that no two homes — or the people living in them — are the same, which is why every project is approached with care, functionality and a deep understanding of how a space needs to feel as well as how it needs to work.
